$100,000 is being made available to the Goulburn Mulwaree Council for development of a community event and construction of a sculpture garden in Tallong, as well as business resilience workshops in Goulburn.
This is thanks to the joint NSW and Commonwealth Government’s Bushfire Community Resilience and Economic Recovery Fund.
Other funded projects include:
$100,000 to Upper Lachlan Shire Council for Marketing and Events to support Economic and Community Recovery and Community Resilience including: a Youth Day in Taralga, an Bushfire and Businesses Event, and the development of Local Business Directory and App for the Upper Lachlan Shire.
$250,000 to Wingecarribee Shire Council which will go towards extending and amplifying the regions Tourism Marketing and Public Relations campaign; implementation and hosting Business Events Familiarisation for Conference organisers; a small grants program for local and not for profit organisations; as well as the creation of a long term sustainability plan for agribusiness in the shire.
We will keep Members informed regarding the business resilience workshops to be held in Goulburn once we find out further details.
